Wild Magnolia 11x14

A favorite Mardi Gras attraction for local New Orleanians, are the “Indians.” The “Indians” paraded in the African American neighborhoods of New Orleans, in magnificent costumes covered in vibrant plumage. The Indian Krewe names are created to represent a street or ward they lived in, or the gang they were affiliated with, as well as tribe names of the native Indians. The “Indians,” participate in local events and Mardi Gras. The Wild Magnolia’s also have a musical band that has very popular Mardi Gras music.
