These two New Orleans streets were streets that I lived on. And, one year, on Mardi Gras day, I got to see the Indians parade, and they stopped on the corner of Orleans and Dupre. I was in a trance watching the group dance and sing, beautifully adorned in vibrantly colored feathers.
