I love drawing female features. I often leave the perimeter of the face void of structure. I like them to be open and expansive. I was playing around with psychedelic patterns and the colors were so vibrant that they reminded me of the Hip Hop artist Missy Elliot. I decided to add a somewhat “Missy Elliot-ish” looking face within the colorful patterns of waves.
